I’m Mhari-Claire and Flutterby Newborn Photography is my baby. Over the years a lot of hard work and dedication has been put in to making it one of the region’s leading Newborn photography studios.

We have chosen to specialise ONLY on babies & their families to be able to guarantee that these precious moments in your life are captured perfectly forever.

All of our sessions take place in our beautiful, spacious studio in Kilmarnock.

I started out studying Art before my Dad persuaded me to get a “proper job” and so I re-trained as a Radiographer. I’ve travelled the world doing CT & MRI in the process, handling hundreds of babies. While working in the Middle East I got involved with a shark tagging project and was diving alongside amazing photographers and videographers who were recording the project. I found that my passion for art and in particular Photography had not diminished so came back to the UK to study photography & set up her own studio.

After training with some of the best photographers in the world including Russ Jackson, Kelly Brown, & David McDonald I have developed my own style & use my creativity to continually develop the images I make.

I’m a Licentiate of the BIPP and a member of the MPA, The Guild of Photographers and SWPP. and have won many awards for my image making, including the coveted trophy of Barrett & Coe Photographer of the Year.

Recently I was recognised for my achievements in growing my business and won the title of Ayrshire Business Woman of the Year 2018.
